FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm in Foster, RI but willing to travel to many surrounding locations to meet your needs! Your session includes travel time up to 1 hour. Travel beyond that may be an additional fee.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive a sneak peek of your session within 24-48 hours through a digital gallery. Final images will be added to the gallery within 2-4 weeks. Events and weddings can take up to 8-12 weeks. Turnaround times for mini holiday sessions are expedited for holiday card and gift giving purposes, usually under 1 week turn around time.
How many photos will we receive?
This depends on the session you choose! Please see the "Investment" tab for details on each session. You will receive at least the number of photos specific to your chosen session type. Often I include all of the captures from the session or event that I feel will best tell your story!
What types of photos do you capture?
Your photos will be a mix of candid captures, posed and natural/unposed! Color and black and white included.
We're nervous, will you pose us?
Of course! I come prepared with prompts and ideas to help guide you into poses and special moments. I really love movement, laughing and snagging shots of natural looking interactions. I will make posing adjustments as needed and will ask if you want to remove sunglasses, wallets, etc. but otherwise I love capturing you as you are!
Can we print and share our photos?
Absolutely! The photos are yours to share away and print at your cost. You can make prints directly from your private gallery or we encourage you to download your entire gallery and order prints from a professional photo printing lab, such as Mpix. We do not recommend printing at Walgreens, CVS, etc. as they may not provide the same quality.
Do you offer in-studio sessions?
Not at this time, my heart belongs to the outdoors! If you prefer an indoor location, I am happy to travel to your home or other location of your choice! I will utilize the naturally available light and flash or additional lighting equipment as needed.
What is your cancellation policy?
Things happen or weather might not be cooperative so you (or I) may need to cancel your session at the last minute. In most cases I am able to offer a full or partial refund or apply a credit to a future session date. Retainers are non-refundable. Please be in communication with me ASAP so we can work something out for your specific situation.
